Love the Kids Rwanda was established in 2016 as a small, charitable foundation with a goal to transform the lives of children with multiple and intersecting vulnerabilities.
Since its inception, thanks to the support of its team and partners, Love the Kids Rwanda managed to rehabilitate children off of the streets and reintegrate them back into their families, provided fully-funded scholarships for vulnerable children to attend public and private schools, organized a combination of training and workshops with the families of children in need of special care and assistance throughout socio-cultural or economic empowerment initiatives, and most importantly cooperated and still work with like-minded parties and individuals with development and implementation of similar programs and activities.
As of today, Love the Kids Rwanda works to invest in and support the access to quality education, promote community acceptance and improve better childhood development for the frail; mistreated or abandoned; orphans and former street children coming from across distinguished backgrounds and with families affected by poverty.
Love the Kids Rwanda Organization is strongly committed to protecting children and youth from multiple and intersecting vulnerabilities because of different heart-breaking factors.
Love the Kids Rwanda provide fully-funded scholarships for highly-selected but vulnerable children to attend schools at both nursery, primary and secondary levels. and we cover their school fees and other scholastic materials. Love the Kids Rwanda team visits sponsored children regularly at their schools and provide advices to where they fail in classes while offering mentoring and coaching during holidays. Interestingly, we run an “after-school initiative” that regularly happens every week-end and in holidays by combining all scholars together to participate in the activities that help them to become better persons and productive members in the community.
Love the Kids Rwanda works hand-in-hand with the families of children to further promote the living conditions at the family level through in-person visits, saving groups, workshops and trainings.
